در دههٔ ۱۹۷۰، ایران و اسرائیل با وجود نداشتن روابط رسمی و علنی، در پشتصحنه همکاریهای گستردهای در حوزههای اطلاعاتی، انرژی، فناوری و امور دفاعی داشتن.
یکی از محرمانهترین نمونههای این همکاری، برنامهای با نام رمز «Project Flower» یا «پروژهٔ گل» بود؛ طرحی که با هدف انتقال دانش فنی، ایجاد زیرساخت و توسعهٔ مشترک فناوری در خاک ایران دنبال میشد.
در این مستند، به سفرهای محرمانهٔ ارتشبد حسن طوفانیان، نقش محمدرضا شاه، شیمون پرز، موشه دایان و عزر وایزمن و همچنین قراردادهای نفت در برابر فناوری میان ایران و اسرائیل میپردازیم.
بررسی میکنیم چرا ایران در آن دوره به دنبال کاهش وابستگی به فروشندگان خارجی بود، چه زیرساختهایی برای این همکاری در نظر گرفته شد و چرا تحولات سال ۱۹۷۹ باعث شد پروژه پیش از رسیدن به مرحلهٔ نهایی متوقف شود.
این ویدیو همچنین تصویری متفاوت از سیاست خارجی ایران در دههٔ ۱۹۷۰ ارائه میدهد؛ دورانی که تهران تلاش میکرد ضمن حفظ روابط با آمریکا و کشورهای منطقه، برای دستیابی به فناوریهای مورد نیازش مسیرهای مستقل دیگری هم ایجاد کند.

Project Flower was one of the most secretive cooperation programs between Iran and Israel during the 1970s.
This documentary explores the strategic relationship between the two countries, the role of senior Iranian and Israeli officials, and Iran’s effort to move beyond simply purchasing foreign equipment toward acquiring technical knowledge and developing domestic capabilities.
It also examines the oil-for-technology agreements, the proposed infrastructure in Iran, and the political developments that brought the project to an end before it became fully operational.
The documentary is based on declassified records, historical documents, and published research about Iran–Israel relations during the reign of Mohammad Reza Shah.
