Pernah Dipasung Keluarga, Pria ODGJ di Aceh Kini Dapat Perawatan Layak yang Gratis & Pelatihan Hidup
ACEH, KOMPAS.TV - Seorang warga dengan gangguan jiwa yang sempat dipasung oleh keluarga, kini mendapatkan perawatan di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh.Pemerintah akhirnya mendaftarkan penderita gangguan jiwa untuk mendapatkan perawatan dan obat secara gratis seumur hidupnya.
Sebelumnya, warga dengan gangguan jiwa itu tidak memiliki Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional karena tidak ada yang mengurusnya.
Ishak, warga Kabupaten Pidie Jaya, Aceh, merupakan satu dari puluhan pasien pasung yang dijemput Pemerintah Aceh melalui Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh untuk dibebaskan dan dirawat di rumah sakit pada Februari lalu.
Setelah dilepas pasung, petugas Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh pun membersihkan Ishak, mulai dari memandikannya, memotong kuku, memangkas rambut, dan memakaikan pakaian layak.
Pihak RSJ Aceh pun membawanya bersama sejumlah pasien dengan gangguan jiwa lainnya dari Pidie Jaya ke Rumah Sakit Jiwa untuk perawatan.
Kini, lima bulan sudah Ishak dirawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh. Kondisinya semakin membaik dari saat ia dipasung keluarganya. Ishak pun telah mendapatkan perhatian dan hak-haknya sebagai warga negara. Ia juga sudah mulai berinteraksi bersama pasien lainnya dan petugas rumah sakit.
Ishak dan pasien dengan gangguan jiwa lainnya diberikan sejumlah pelatihan dasar dan belajar berbagai hal dengan petugas rumah sakit.
