Concluye en Beijing la Conferencia de Líderes Mundiales sobre la Mujer

La Conferencia de Líderes Mundiales sobre la Mujer concluyó el lunes por la tarde en Beijing, ocasión a la que asistieron la consejera de Estado china y presidenta de la Federación Nacional de Mujeres de China, Shen Yiqin, y la subsecretaria general de las Naciones Unidas y directora ejecutiva de ONU Mujeres, Sima Bahous.
Durante la Conferencia de Líderes Mundiales sobre la Mujer, la consejera de Estado china, Shen Yiqin, destacó que las cinco medidas prácticas anunciadas por China para impulsar el avance de las mujeres reflejan la responsabilidad del país como gran nación y fueron ampliamente reconocidas por los participantes. Afirmó que China trabajará con otros países para transformar los consensos alcanzados en acciones concretas que ayuden a más mujeres a cumplir sus metas.
Por su parte, la subsecretaria general de las Naciones Unidas, Sima Bahous, elogió el progreso de China en la promoción del desarrollo femenino y su contribución al empoderamiento de las mujeres a nivel global.
La conferencia reunió a unos 800 delegados de más de 110 países y organizaciones internacionales.
En su declaración final, los líderes asistentes calificaron el evento como un nuevo hito en el movimiento mundial por los derechos de las mujeres y se comprometieron a adoptar medidas concretas para acelerar su desarrollo integral. #China #VocesFemeninas #ONU #xw
