DRK-Chef kritisiert!Hermann Gröhe, neuer Präsident des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes, warnt vor den Folgen der geplanten Kürzungen der Bundesregierung bei der humanitären Hilfe. Die Einsparungen seien nicht nur moralisch fragwürdig, sondern auch politisch kurzsichtig: Sie würden globale Notlagen verschärfen und Fluchtbewegungen verstärken. In seinem ersten öffentlichen Statement als DRK-Präsident fordert der frühere CDU-Politiker ein Umdenken – für die Betroffenen weltweit, aber auch im Interesse der Stabilität Europas.
