📌 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

How do you actually judge a US stock — and how do you know what price to pay for it? In this video I use a 5-question framework to score NVIDIA on quality, then calculate its fair value using just two inputs — no DCF, no complex modelling.

Everything is done live on the Tickertape US stocks screener, so you can follow along on your own phone with any US company you already use every day.

⚠️ This video is sponsored by Tickertape. All analysis, scores and opinions are our own.

You use around 10 American companies every single day — the OS on your phone, Windows at work, Instagram at lunch, Amazon in the evening, Netflix at night. You pay all of them every month. You own zero shares in any of them.

That's not an emotional point. It's a business observation: wealth goes to owners, not customers.

But before you buy anything, there's a decision most people skip — and it comes BEFORE picking a stock:

→ Believe in one company? Buy the stock.
→ Believe in a sector but don't know who wins inside it? Buy the ETF.
→ Believe in a theme that spans several sectors? Buy the basket.

The most common mistake in investing isn't bad analysis. People get convinced by a theme, then buy a single stock. The theme plays out, the stock doesn't, and they blame their analysis. The analysis was fine. The vehicle was wrong.

🔍 THE FIVE LENS MODEL
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Five questions. Two marks each. Ten total. Built specifically for retail investors, because complex model-based analysis isn't always possible when key data points aren't available.

Lens 1 — Is the business growing? (5-year revenue, count the years it actually fell)
Lens 2 — Is the profit trend holding up?
Lens 3 — Are the profits real? (Operating Cash Flow ÷ Net Income)
Lens 4 — Who owns the company? (Total Assets − Total Liabilities)
Lens 5 — Does the cash come back? (Financing CF ÷ Operating CF)

Scoring: 7+ serious candidate · 5–6 watchlist · below 4 I don't touch it.

NVIDIA's full scorecard — and the one lens where it scores zero — is worked out live in the video.
