Police were attacked again last night at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Miscreants entered the protesters' midst and pelted them with stones and batons. Several police officers, including two ACPs and two inspectors, were injured. After the internet was shut down, protesters were mobilized through SMS messages around Jantar Mantar.
Union Minister JP Nadda assured a discussion on the paper leak in Parliament. He gave the opposition the right to decide the date and time. He accused Rahul Gandhi of politicizing the issue, asking why he doesn't mention the paper leak in non-BJP ruled states.
Sonam Wangchuk, who is on a hunger strike over the paper leak, released a video from the hospital, hinting at ending the hunger strike. He said he would end the hunger strike if the government assured him of stopping the use of force against students and withdrawing the cases. However, the CJP is adamant on continuing the protest until Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.
