Unionsfraktionschef Jens Spahn und sein Ehemann Daniel Funke sind Eltern eines Sohnes geworden. Nach Medienberichten kam das Kind in den USA durch eine Leihmutter zur Welt. Der Fall sorgt für politische Diskussionen, denn Leihmutterschaft ist in Deutschland verboten und wurde auch vom damaligen Bundesgesundheitsminister Jens Spahn ausdrücklich abgelehnt.
