Cooper Standard, 375 operai in cassa integrazione: "A 62 anni io ora cosa dovrei fare?"
I lavoratori della Cooper Standard Automotive di Battipaglia, piana del Sele, in provincia di Salerno, hanno scioperato per oltre venti giorni contro la decisione di delocalizzare parte della produzione in Polonia, scelta che porterà - denunciano - «alla chiusura dello stabilimento entro un anno».L’azienda, che conta 375 dipendenti, da anni lavora in appalto per il gruppo Stellantis, producendo componenti in plastica per modelli come Alfa Romeo Tonale, Jeep Renegade e Fiat Panda.
Lo sciopero è iniziato l’11 settembre, quando gli operai hanno scoperto che alcuni pezzi della filiera venivano ormai assemblati in altri stabilimenti europei della stessa società.
Dopo settimane di mobilitazione e presidi, lo scorso 8 ottobre a Roma è stato raggiunto un accordo al ministero del Lavoro: prevista la cassa integrazione per tutti i dipendenti e la possibilità di ricollocazione o prepensionamento, ma senza garanzie sul mantenimento del sito produttivo una volta conclusa la commessa con Stellantis.
