PLO | Bị thiệt hại nặng nề ở biển Đen, Nga chọn Azov để phóng tên lửa tấn công Ukraine?Lực lượng Nga đã tiến hành các cuộc tấn công bằng tên lửa và máy bay không người lái (UAV) trong đêm 22-6, nhắm mục tiêu vào cơ sở hạ tầng năng lượng quan trọng tại nhiều khu vực của Ukraine. Theo ông Pletenchuk, 4/16 tên lửa được bắn đi trong cuộc tấn công là tên lửa hành trình Kalibr và những tên lửa này được phóng từ các tàu chiến tại biển Azov.
Ông Pletenchuk nhấn mạnh cuộc tấn công trên của Nga là một bước ngoặt quan trọng với việc Nga sử dụng biển Azov vì cho rằng vùng biển này an toàn hơn Biển Đen. Hồi tháng 2, Bộ Quốc phòng Anh cho biết Hạm đội Biển Đen của Nga đã chịu thiệt hại nặng, với việc 25% tàu chiến Nga tại Biển Đen đã bị đánh chìm, hư hỏng hoặc bị phá hủy kể từ khi xung đột Nga-Ukraine nổ ra. Các cuộc tấn công của Ukraine có thể đã buộc các tàu chiến Nga rút khỏi bán đảo Crimea và di chuyển tới vùng biển an toàn hơn.
Biển Azov giáp với miền nam Ukraine, nối với Biển Đen thông qua eo biển Kerch, và điều quan trọng là Nga kiểm soát toàn bộ đường bờ biển này. Theo lực lượng hải quân Ukraine, hôm 25-6, 7 tàu chiến Nga được phát hiện tại biển Azov, trong đó có 2 chiếc được trang bị tên lửa hành trình Kalibr.
