Penggunaan RM-70 itu membuat Thailand murka hingga memperingatkan Kamboja lantaran menewaskan banyak korban.
Adapun RM-70 merupakan sistem peluncur roket ganda yang di kembangkan di Cekoslowakia.
Senjata tersebut juga biasa dikenal dengan sebutan Vampir.
RM-70 mampu meluncurkan 40 roket hanya dalam waktu 20 detik.
Sistem peluncur rudal itu mampu menjangkau 20 hingga 40 km menggunakan roket 122 dan 9M22U.
RM-70 memiliki akurasi presisi yang relatif rendah, namun menimbulkan dampak yang sangat merusak ketika di area luas.
Senjata tersebut memiliki berat sekitar 33 ton dengan kapasitas ulang untuk 40 roket tambahan.
RM-70 menggunakan sistem perlindungan lapis baja untuk melindungi kru dari peluru dan pecahan peluru.
Kamboja sendiri memiliki 36 unit RM-70 yang dibeli pada 1980an lalu.
