Más de 100 delegados, entre los que se encontraban embajadores, académicos y rectores universitarios, se reunieron el viernes en la ciudad de Guangzhou, en el sur de China, para debatir sobre la colaboración en materia de desarrollo sostenible entre China y las naciones insulares del Pacífico.El Foro de Cooperación para el Desarrollo Sostenible de las Islas del Pacífico está generando nuevas ideas para una asociación más inclusiva y sostenible entre China y las naciones insulares del Pacífico bajo un marco caracterizado por la innovación y el intercambio cultural y de ideas. Una de las medidas clave es la puesta en marcha de la Alianza Académica entre Guangdong y las Naciones Insulares del Pacífico, que abre un nuevo capítulo en la cooperación académica en materia de investigación e impulso de talento.
