Anggota DPR Minta TNI Tidak Lanjutkan Rencana Laporkan Ferry Irwandi, Sebut Tak Ada “Legal Standing”

Menurut Abdullah, rencana TNI melaporkan Ferry Irwandi itu tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan perundang-undangan.
“Saya menilai tak perlu dilanjutkan, karena rencana pelaporan tersebut tidak sesuai dengan UUD 1945, UU TNI, dan Putusan MK Perkara Nomor 105/PUU-XXII/2024,” kata Abdullah.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan Abdullah dilansir dari Kompas.com pada Kamis (11/9/2025).
Selain itu Abdullah juga menyoroti putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) yang mengatur bahwa dugaan pencemaran nama baik tidak berlaku untuk institusi.
Anggota DPR RI itu juga menilai rencana melaporkan Ferry Irwandi itu bisa berpotensi mempersempit ruang demokrasi.
Ia khwatir, rencana itu justru membuat masyarakat sipil takut atau terlalu berhati-hati dalam menyampaikan pendapat.
Padahal udang-undang telah menjamin hak masyarakat untuk berkumpul dan menyampailkan pendapat.
Abdullah menilai kebebasan menyampaikan pendapat harus terus dijalankan agar meningkatkan kualitas demokrasi.
“Ini adalah mekanisme yang mesti dijalankan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas demokrasi melalui partisipasi rakyat dan check and balances antar lembaga,” tutur dia.
Politikus PKB itu mendorong semua pihak untuk menjaga TNI agar terus profesional.
Di antaranya menurut Abdullah adalah dengan tetap menghormati supremasi sipil, HAM dan berpegang pada jati diri bangsa. (Tribun-Video.com/Kompas.com)
