Dukungan itu disampaikan saat Xi melakukan pertemuan bilateral dengan Prabowo di Beijing pada Rabu (3/9/2025).
Dikutip dari laman resmi KBRI Tiongkok di Indonesia, Xi juga memuji Prabowo yang tetap hadir memenuhi undangan China meski Indonesia dilanda kesulitan.
Menurutnya, hal itu menandai betapa eratnya hubungan China-Indonesia yang sudah terjalin selama 75 tahun.
"China mendukung kebijakan pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo, mendukung pemulihan ketertiban dan stabilitas Indonesia secepatnya, serta mendukung pembangunan dan penguatan Indonesia," kata Xi.
Sementara itu, Prabowo menyampaikan perkembangan situasi dalam negeri yang semakin stabil.
Ia juga merasa terhormat bisa hadir merayakan peringatan 80 tahun kemenangan perang perlawanan China terhadap Jepang.
Perayaan itu juga dihadiri Presiden Rusia Vladimir Putin hingga pemimpin tertinggi Korea Utara Kim Jong Un.
Mereka menyaksikan parade militer, termasuk pasukan hingga senjata-senjata canggih.
Malam harinya, Prabowo langsung pulang ke Tanah Air.
Sebelumnya, gelombang demo di Indonesia berlangsung selama sepekan yang dipicu kenaikan tunjangan anggota DPR.
Kondisi ini semakin memanas setelah pengemudi ojek online (ojol) meninggal akibat dilindas kendaraan polisi saat membubarkan demo.
Aksi meluas di berbagai daerah dan diwarnai anarkisme hingga penjarahan.
