Michael Blumenroth im Rohstoff-Talk: „Deutschland wird nie unabhängig sein"
US-Präsident Donald Trump war gerade erst zu Besuch im China. Dabei wurde eines klar: China denkt in Dekaden, sichert sich Rohstoffe und Trump denkt eher in kurzfristigen Schlagzeilen. Doch die Volksrepublik geht schrittweise in Handel, Technologie und Klimapolitik auf die Überholspur. „China denkt in Dekaden. Wahlen sind dort kein großes Problem, aber Donald Trump muss bei sich immer auf die Zwischenwahlen schauen. China schaut aber auf die lange Sicht und das ist sehr intelligent umgesetzt. So etwas vermisse ich bei uns in Deutschland und Europa. Da muss man aufpassen, den Anschluss nicht zu verlieren. China möchte die Weltwirtschaftsmacht Nummer eins werden. Am Ball bleiben müssen wir auf jeden Fall. Aber auch die EU ist aufgewacht, z.B. durch das Mercosur-Abkommen. Aber es wird leider nicht möglich sein, dass Deutschland unabhängig wird. Es wird nicht reichen für unsere Industrie. Man müsste als EU als eine Nachfrage-Macht auftreten", erklärt Michael Blumenroth im Rohstoff-Talk. Der Rohstoffanalyst der Deutschen Bank über Kaffee: „Bei Kaffee hatten wir hohe Preise, weil es z.B. Miss-Ernsten in Brasilien gab. Jetzt haben wir wieder ein größeres Angebot und eine bessere Ernte gesehen. Jetzt ist das Problem, dass der Kaffee per Termin verkauft wird. Aber vielleicht werden sich die niedrigeren Preise mittelfristig niederschlagen."
