A virtuoso Horn Concerto by the young Strauss, accompanied by a light-hearted Schubert symphony and Mendelssohn's Overture about the beautiful mermaid who leaves her mermaid kingdom to live happily ever after with her knight. You can also look forward to the solo horn player of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Kristian Katzenberger and an early work by the Viennese early Romantic composer, which is modest in its means, its brevity and its proximity to Mozart thanks to its rich harmonies and weightless melodies, making it a »real Schubert«.
