Taiwan Flexes US-made HIMARS in Military Drill Against Potential China Invasion | Firstpost Live
Taiwan's Army conducted a second day of live-fire artillery exercises on Wednesday, featuring the U.S.-supplied High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, or HIMARS. The drills, held on the west coast of Taichung, also involved 155mm howitzers and simulated a response to a potential Chinese military invasion. Organised by the Army's 10th Corps, the exercise tested rapid deployment, precision-strike capabilities and cross-regional fire support. The HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system was the centerpiece of the drill as Taiwan continues to strengthen its defences amid growing military pressure from China.
