Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz zieht offenbar Konsequenzen und entlässt Verkehrsminister Patrick Schnieder. Aus Unionskreisen heißt es, der Kanzler sei mit dessen Amtsführung sowie den Problemen bei Schienennetz und Infrastruktur zunehmend unzufrieden gewesen. Trotz Milliarden-Etats seien wichtige Fortschritte ausgeblieben. Auch die anhaltenden Probleme bei der Deutschen Bahn belasteten Schnieders Bilanz. Gleichzeitig kündigt Merz weitere Veränderungen in seinem Regierungsteam an. Zudem wechselt Gesundheitsministerin Nina Warken ins Kanzleramt, während Carsten Linnemann das Gesundheitsministerium übernehmen soll.#merz #politik #cdu #vertraulich
