- "Benvenuto in Italia, la sua presenza a Roma, dove ha visto il Santo Padre, e' anche l'occasione per ribadire e riaffermare la grande amicizia che lega Polonia e Italia e che lega i nostri popoli". Cosi' il Presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, ricevendo al Quirinale il Presidente della Repubblica di Polonia Karol Nawrocki. "E' una amicizia - ha aggiunto il Capo dello Stato - che poi si e' ulteriormente consolidata attraverso il comune impegno nell'Unione europea e nell'Alleanza Atlantica e che trova anche una grande collaborazione di carattere politico ed economico. La sua presenza qui a Roma e' l'occasione anche, come certamente avra' fatto con la presidente del Consiglio - ha rilevato ancora Mattarella - di registrare ed esprimere il desiderio di intensificare ulteriormente la collaborazione che vi e' tra i nostri Paesi. Abbiamo una attivita' economica per tanti aspetti comune, integrata con grandi collaborazioni e abbiamo sempre margini per incrementare ulteriormente".
