SORONG, KOMPAS.TV - Polresta kota Sorong menetapkan kepala dinas pendidikan kota Sorong sebagai tersangka kasus dugaan korupsi dana protokol kesehatan tahun 2021.Kepala dinas pendidikan kota Sorong berinisial Y-A, dan konsultan, F, kini ditahan.
Penahanan dilakukan atas kasus dugaan korupsi dana protokol kesehatan tahun 2021 yang bersumber dari insentif daerah.
Dinas pendidikan kota Sorong sebelumnya mendapatkan anggaran untuk pengadaan alat protokol kesehatan senilai 4,7 miliar. Dana tersebut digunakan untuk enam kegiatan termasuk pengadaan alat pelindung diri sekolah. Oleh pejabat pembuat komitmen hanya membuat rencana anggaran biaya yang diduga satuannya digelembungkan. Dari audit BPK RI ditemukan total kerugian negara mencapai 2,3 miliar. Tersangka kini terancam hukuman penjara minimal 4 tahun dan paling lama 20 tahun, dan denda 200 juta.
