On the 15th of August, India will celebrate its 80th Independence Day, and the nation's journey has been truly inspiring. From British colonial rule, to rising economy to now an emerging power, India has come a long way. But how does the world view India? A new Pew Research Center study interviewed around 42,000 participants across 36 countries to understand their views on India. Meanwhile, Thailand is reportedly eyeing India's BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. As per reports, the two countries are in advanced statges of talks and Thai military officials are already evaluating the weapon system. The BrahMos is a supersonic cruise missile capable of reaching speeds upto Mach 3.0, or three times the speed of sound.
