Regierungserklärung: Merz wirbt für Reformkurs
In einer Regierungserklärung hat Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz für den Reformkurs seiner schwarz-roten Koalition geworben, etwa bei der Rente. Und er lobte das Gespräch der Koalitionsspitzen mit Gewerkschaften und Wirtschaftsverbänden vom Vorabend. Vor dem G7- und EU-Gipfel kommende Woche stellte Merz klar, ohne Europa ginge es vor allem bei der Ukraine nicht.Aus Sicht von DW-Politikkorrespondent Jens Thurau muss Merz vor den Landtagswahlen im Herbst dringend liefern. Und Thurau weiter: "International wäre es schon ein Erfolg, wenn der G7-Gipfel mit US-Präsident Trump nicht im Chaos endet."
