Nigeria's former president, Muhammadu Buhari, has died at the age of 82 in London, where he had been receiving medical treatment. Buhari's presidency, which began in 2015, was marked by his promise to crack down on corruption and his efforts to combat the Boko Haram insurgency in the country's north.
