DPRD Badung Tinjau Tembok GWK Bali Blokir Akses Warga, Pihak Manajemen Akan Dipanggil
BALI, KOMPAS.TV - Manajemen Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Bali memblokir akses jalan warga yang tinggal di sekitar objek wisata patung tertinggi keempat di dunia.Akibatnya, puluhan warga terdampak dan kesulitan untuk keluar masuk rumah.
Sejumlah warga Banjar Adat Giri Dharma, Desa Adat Ungasan, Kecamatan Kuta Selatan, bersama anggota DPRD Kabupaten Badung mengecek langsung pagar tembok yang dibangun oleh manajemen GWK Bali.
Tembok beton yang dipasang sejak akhir 2024 ini menutup akses keluar masuk warga.
Bahkan di sejumlah titik, tembok berdiri tepat di samping pagar dan gerbang rumah warga, sehingga mereka hanya bisa berjalan dengan posisi miring di antara tembok pembatas.
Sejumlah anggota DPRD Badung yang melakukan inspeksi pun mengaku kaget dengan kondisi ini.
Rencananya, DPRD Badung akan memanggil manajemen GWK bersama pengurus desa setempat untuk mencari solusi.
Menurut warga, jalan yang diblokir oleh manajemen GWK sebelumnya telah dihibahkan ke Pemkab Badung untuk dijadikan jalan umum.
Sementara itu, terkait kasus ini, pihak manajemen GWK memberikan keterangan tertulis yang menyebut sudah melakukan sosialisasi rencana pemagaran kepada masyarakat pada 30 April dan 10 Juli 2024.
Pemagaran kemudian dilaksanakan pada 10 hingga 20 September 2024.
Pihak GWK mengklaim pemagaran dilakukan di atas tanah milik PT Garuda Adhimatra Indonesia, yang merupakan bagian dari manajemen GWK.
Kini, warga menunggu penyelesaian kasus ini dan berharap pagar tembok tersebut dibuka kembali agar mereka bisa beraktivitas normal.
