Dr Prabha Nair delves into how digital transformation is reshaping our lives, identities, and interactions. This talk examines the impact of technology on society and challenges us to rethink our relationship with an increasingly digitized world. For Dr. Prabha S. Nair, law has always been more than just a profession, it has been a way to engage with important global conversations on intellectual property, biodiversity, and international policy. What began as a journey as a young advocate gradually grew into a career that connects teaching, research, and international policy work.Over the years, she has contributed to discussions on biodiversity law, digital sequence information, and access and benefit sharing under the UN Convention on Biological Diversity. Her work has taken her from national policy spaces to international research collaborations, including serving as a Post-doctoral Research Officer at the Law Department of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Through her research, advisory roles, and teaching, Dr. Nair continues to work at the intersection of law, science, and global policy which helps us to know how countries think about biodiversity and intellectual property today.
