Don Cherry VINDICATED + CBC is in BIG trouble + Khalistani critic MURDERED in Ontario

On today’s episode of the Candice Malcolm Show News Update, Candice covers the latest bad news story for the CBC, as one of their former star anchors is going public with allegations and will be “naming names” in a Parliamentary committee hearing next week. Get your popcorn ready! We’ll be covering that hearing on Tuesday March 10, 2026.

Next, our friend and former colleague MP Andrew Lawton has nominated Canadian patriot Don Cherry for an Order of Canada award. Good on you, Andrew! Sign the petition.

This comes fresh off Cherry’s visit to Queen’s Park with Ontario Premier Doug Ford, where he was honoured with the Order of Ontario. Candice reminds us of the ridiculous cancel culture woke mob lynching of Cherry back in 2019, when Cherry was fired for using clunky language while demanding that people wear the poppy to respect those who died for our country and our freedom.

Cherry was right in 2019, and he’s been vindicated in 2026.
Finally, Candice details the grueling story of Nancy Grewal who was murdered earlier this week outside of Windsor, Ontario, in what police are calling a targeted killing. Grewal was a vocal critic of Khalistani terrorism and worked to expose violent Sikh extremism in Canada.

Candice reminds the audience that the only other journalist ever assassinated in Canada was in 1998, when Tara Signh Hayer, the editor of a Sikh newspaper and another vocal critic of Khalistani terrorism was gunned down and murdered in his driveway.

Hayer was paralyzed from a previous assisnation attempt, and was murdered in his wheelchair. The murder remains unsolved today. Candice reveals to the audience her own experience with Khalistani extremists – including violent threats and doxxing – back in 2018 when she wrote in the Toronto Sun.
