Xi Jinping, secretario general del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de China (PCCh), se reunió en la mañana del 10 de abril en Beijing con Cheng Li-wun, presidenta del partido Kuomintang (KMT) de China.Xi Jinping indicó que los compatriotas de ambos lados del Estrecho pertenecen a la misma nación china.
