La risoluzione parla chiaramente dei valori della Fiamma Olimpica ma soprattutto della tregua olimpica che è l'elemento fondante della nostra carta, della costituzione del mondo delle Olimpiadi del CIO. Siamo venuti a fare un lavoro straordinario di team con il Comitato Olimpico Internazionale, con il Ministero e con la rappresentanza permanente italiana insieme ovviamente al Comitato Organizzatore Milano-Cortina".
