我不會把這部電影說成一個女生變成恐怖情人的故事。Nikki從來沒有選擇成為那個模樣。真正瘋狂的，是Bear拿走了她不愛他的權利，還把改造另一個人稱為愛。
這一集，我會從男性、心理與決策三個方向拆解Bear。先延續《何苦為男？》的討論，看他如何困在男性資格檢定裡，把女人的選擇當成自身價值的證明；再從全能自戀談他真正迷戀的，其實是「被Nikki愛著的自己」；最後進入幾乎沒有影評談過的決策角度：一個人若總在可以回頭的小事上內耗，遇到由別人承擔代價的大事卻盲目行動，事情出錯後又拒絕收拾，即使沒有明確惡意，仍然非常危險。
一個人真正的樣子，往往要等到別人不照他的劇本走，才看得見。當對方拒絕你，你還能不能尊重他的選擇？你愛的是眼前這個人，還是你想把他改造成的樣子？
