Serangan tersebut adalah respons atas serangan sebelumnya dari AS dan Inggris yang menyasar Yaman Sanaa, Hodeidah dan Taiz.
Serangan AS dan Inggris itu diduga menargetkan infrastruktur sipil dan mengakibatkan kematian 16 orang dan lebih dari 40 orang terluka.
AS dan Inggris menyasar 13 titik Houthi di Yaman dan mengklaim telah menjatuhkan 8 drone.
Kini, Houthi mengklaim, serangan terhadap Kapal Induk AS dilakukan sangat akurat.
Namun sejauh ini, belum ada laporan adanya korban jiwa maupun kerusakan atas serangan tersebut.
Sejumlah media pro Israel dan AS, juga membantah adanya klaim serangan Houthi terhadap kapal perang AS.
Hanya saja, AS sendiri belum mengeluarkan pernyataan resmi atas serangan tersebut.
Sementara itu, Hamas kembali berburu dan menembaki Pasukan Pertahanan Israel (IDF) yang berada di Kota Rafah.
Video detik-detik penargetkan hingga penembakan tentara IDF diunggah di Telegram Hamas pada Jumat (31/5).
Dalam video itu terlihat Hamas membidik kelompok-kelompok tentara Israel yang berada di bangunan.
Dinarasikan tentara Israel itu tewas meledak satu per satu di posisinya.
