Vegetationsbrand in Brühl – Hausmeisterwohnung durch Flammen bedroht
Brühl: Am Freitagnachmittag kam es in Brühl zu einem größeren Feuerwehreinsatz. Gegen 16:30 Uhr wurde in der Straße Wiesenplätz ein ausgedehnter Vegetationsbrand gemeldet. Das Feuer breitete sich rasch aus und griff auf die Fassade der Hausmeisterwohnung über, die zur Marion-Dönhoff-Realschule gehört.Dank des schnellen Eingreifens der Feuerwehr konnte ein Übergreifen der Flammen auf das Innere des Gebäudes verhindert werden. Die Wohnung war dennoch stark verraucht. Ein Angriffstrupp rettete einen Hund und zwei Katzen aus dem Gebäude.
Zur Kontrolle des Daches kam die Drehleiter der Feuerwehr Schwetzingen zum Einsatz. Die Nachlöscharbeiten dauerten bis etwa 18:00 Uhr an.
Insgesamt waren über 75 Einsatzkräfte von Feuerwehr, Rettungsdienst und Polizei vor Ort. Der Sachschaden ist erheblich. Zur genauen Brandursache liegen derzeit noch keine Informationen vor. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
