Fraktionschef Miersch sagte, der Staat müsse einen Zusammenbruch der Wirtschaft verhindern. Im schlimmsten Fall müssten alle Optionen auf den Tisch – etwa die Ausrufung einer Haushaltsnotlage. Das würde auch neue Schulden bedeuten, so der Sozialdemokrat. Aus der CDU kam prompt scharfe Kritik am Koalitionspartner. Generalsekretär Linnemann sprach von politischer Faulheit. Die Politik müsse stattdessen Mut zu Reformen und zum Sparen zeigen.
