Penjelasan Anies Baswedan Usai Singgung Presiden RI Absen dari Forum PBB
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV Mantan Gubernur Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, menyinggung soal Presiden Indonesia yang beberapa tahun terakhir absen dalam pertemuan PBB.Hal ini disampaikan Anies saat memberikan sambutan di acara Rapat Pimpinan Nasional (Rapimnas) Gerakan Rakyat di Jakarta pada Minggu (13/7/2025).
Usai pertemuan, Anies menjelaskan alasan menyinggung hal tersebut. Ia menilai Indonesia bisa berperan lebih besar di kancah internasional.
Dirinya mengatakan masalah global di antaranya lingkungan hidup, kemanusiaan, konflik wilayah, hingga ketegangan akibat kebijakan ekonomi global.
"Kita di Indonesia bisa ikut ambil peran dalam hal ini. Tentu pemerintah harus merumuskan dan bisa mengambil peran aktif," ujar Anies.
