Algo extraordinario está ocurriendo en el interior de Australia, una región desértica se está llenando de agua. Es la cuenca del Lago Eyre, pero OJO, lo de lago que no os confunda, la zona rara vez acoge agua, es la zona más árida del continente una inmensa llanura salada. Las partes más bajas del lago Eyre se encuentran a unos 15 metros por debajo del nivel del mar, se cree que es el resto de un mar interior que existió hace varios millones de años, cuando Australia se encontraba más al Sur.
