Namun, beberapa orang masih bertahan di depan barrier beton sambil memprovokasi polisi.
Dilaporkan pendemo berteriak dan melempar batu, botol, hingga bom molotov ke arah petugas kepolisian.
Selain itu, petasan juga beberapa kali diledakkan ke arah kepolisian.
Kemudian polisi melalui pengeras suara meminta demonstran berhenti melempar molotov.
Meski sebagian telah pergi, beberapa demonstran tetap melakukan pembakaran traffic cone dan water barrier.
Mengutip Tribunnews, aksi ini melibatkan sekira 2.500 pendemo dari berbagai elemen masyarakat sipil.
Adapun mahasiswa yang ikut aksi sepakat tidak memakai almamater kampus untuk menghilangkan ego sektoral.
Sebelum menuju Patung Kuda, pendemo terlebih dahulu berkumpul di Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM).
Juru bicara aksi, Tegar Afriansyah, menyatakan tuntutan mereka tidak jauh berbeda dengan aspirasi masyarakat.
