Indignación tras homenaje a policía: el pueblo cubano lo recuerda como un abusador

En este fragmento del show Hola! Ota-Ola, el activista cubanoamericano Alex Otaola reacciona al homenaje oficial que el régimen cubano organizó en honor al teniente de la policía que apareció muerto en una carretera. Otaola denuncia que se trata de una maniobra manipuladora para ocultar el historial represivo del oficial, quien según testimonios populares, era temido por sus abusos de poder, amenazas y decomisos arbitrarios.

El video incluye el testimonio desgarrador del hermano de una víctima directa de este teniente, quien relata cómo su hermano fue acosado constantemente por este esbirro, hasta el punto de destruirle un horno de carbón y arruinarle su sustento. “Ese tipo le tenía la vida hecha un yogur a mi hermano”, dice. La escena desmonta el relato oficial y refleja el creciente repudio ciudadano hacia los cuerpos represivos del castrismo.

Otaola señala la hipocresía del régimen al intentar lavar la imagen de sus verdugos y lanza un mensaje contundente: “La dictadura quiere disfrazar de mártir a quien fue un represor odiado por su pueblo”.
