Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo hadir membuka acara Kemala Run 2024 yang diikuti 10.000 peserta dari para atlet nasional dan internasional, pecinta olahraga lari, komunitas lari dan keluarga besar Polri dari seluruh Indonesia.
Lomba lari ini terbagi dalam empat kategori. Kategori pertama Half Marathon dengan jarak 10KM, 5KM, Kids Dash yang melombakan jarak 100, 200, dan 300 meter, dan satu kategori non-lomba Disabilitas.
Jalur lomba juga telah tersertifikasi secara internasional oleh Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).
Kemala Run 2024 ini digelar untuk meningkatkan agar animo masyarakat terhadap olahraga lari semakin besar.
