TRUMP-PUTIN-TREFFEN: Alle Augen auf Alaska – „Es läuft psychologische Kriegsführung im Vorfeld“Sicherheitsexperte Nico Lange sieht das Trump-Putin-Treffen mit großer Skepsis. „Ich bin da sehr, sehr pessimistisch. Putin will den Krieg weiterführen. Beide genießen erkennbar die Aufmerksamkeit und die Show.“ Putin wolle keine Waffenruhe – dass diese bei dem Gipfel in Alaska geschlossen werde, sei unwahrscheinlich. Im besten Fall können die Gespräche einen Prozess anstoßen, der zu einer Waffenruhe führen wird. Statt über die Ukraine zu diskutieren, könnte über Projekte der russisch-amerikanischen Zusammenarbeit gesprochen werden, analysiert Lange. Dies könne man an den jeweiligen Delegationen erkennen. Doch schon im Vorfeld gibt es viel Aufregung: Lawrow erscheint im UdSSR-Shirt, Trump telefoniert mit Lukaschenko – „psychologische Kriegsführung im Vorfeld“, so Lange.
