Dopo l'apertura dell'inchiesta della Procura di Milano che indaga su Alfonso Signorini con le accuse di estorsione e violenza sessuale ai suoi danni, Antonio Medugno, che l'ha denunciato, affida il suo pensiero a una storia in video sul profilo Instagram. «Voglio essere chiaro: non sono andato a letto con Signorini né la prima volta né dopo né mai - chiarisce nella clip pubblicata sui suoi profili social - Capisco il sospetto perché intorno a questo ci sono stati tanti messaggi allusivi e un rapporto che, col senno di poi, riconosco sbagliato. Ho lasciato spazio a un'ambiguità che non avrei mai dovuto accettare. Mi prendo la mia responsabilità. Non sono andato lì per ottenere sesso o favori, sono andato per chiarire, per dimostrare che valori avessi e che tipo persona fossi». «È stata una scelta ingenua, lo ammetto, ma ingenuità non significa né consenso né colpa, ho sbagliato a stare vicino a quella situazione e a non tagliare subito - ha aggiunto - È stato un errore ma restare non significa stare bene e che soprattutto che quello che è stato raccontato online sia vero». Medugno ha anche riconosciuto che «col senno di poi, c'erano dei messaggi ambigui e forse avrei dovuto mettere molto prima un confine ma quando sei giovane temi di bruciarti le opportunità lavorative e hai tante pressioni addosso e non ragioni sempre in modo lucido.
