Sebab, perjanjian ini disepakati saat konflik sedang panas-panasnya, ditandai dengan pembalasan Iran terhadap pangkalan militer Amerika Serikat (AS) di Qatar.
"Mengagetkan juga ya publik pada satu sisi tentu bersyukur karena perang bisa dihentikan dan tidak menjalar ke mana-mana," ujar Yon dalam wawancara bersama Tribunnews, Rabu (25/6/2025).
Namun, Yon menilai perang yang berlangsung selama 12 hari ini 'dimenangkan' oleh Iran.
"Sebenarnya kan Israel belum mencapai tujuannya. Dalam perang kalau tujuan tidak tercapai dan setelah itu meminta perundingan (gencatan senjata) artinya kan sesungguhnya dalam tanda kutip telah mengalami kekalahan," imbuhnya.
Ia menambahkan, sistem pertahanan udara Israel juga berulang kali kebobolan saat diserang rudal Iran.
"Tidak semuanya (rudal Iran) bisa dihalau katakanlah 20 persen itu jatuh menimpa bangunan saya kira ini menjadi sebuah kegagalan oleh Israel dalam hal melindungi rakyatnya," kata Yon.
Yon lantas membuat perbandingan skor jika Iran mengalami satu serangan, Israel justru dua kali kebobolan.
