Janji itu disampaikan Jokowi melalui pidato Kongres PSI yang berlangsung di Solo, Jawa Tengah, Sabtu (19/7).
"Saya akan full mendukung PSI. Saya akan kerja keras untuk PSI," kata Jokowi di Kongres PSI di Solo, Jawa Tengah, Sabtu (19/7).
Lantas, sumpah Jokowi itu langsung membuat para kader berdiri dan bersorak sembari bertepuk tangan.
Selain itu, Kaesang Pangarep, selaku Ketua Umum PSI yang baru saja terpilih terlihat terharu mendengar janji tersebut.
Lanjut Jokowi berpesan ke Kaesang Pangarep agar segera menyelesaikan struktur partai di seluruh wilayah, mulai dari provinsi hingga ke pedesaan.
