Protests continued outside a Minnesota federal building on Sunday, January 11, in response to the fatal shooting of Renee Good by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis and the shooting of two people in Portland, Oregon.
Footage taken by journalist Brendan Gutenschwager shows federal agents firing tear gas and deploying a flashbang at demonstrators outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building as protests turned violent.
Gutenschwager earlier said authorities had made multiple arrests at the rally.
Protests erupted across the US over the weekend after Good was shot dead in her car on Wednesday, January 7, by a federal agent. A day later, a man and woman were confronted and shot by agents in a medical clinic parking lot in Portland.

At least six people were arrested outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in Portland on Thursday, January 8, police said.
Video recorded here by @haileyywest shows a scuffle breaking out between protesters and police before a woman is seen being detained.
The protests came after a US Customs Border Protection agent shot and wounded a man and woman during a targeted vehicle stop outside a medical facility in the city earlier on Thursday.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said that the male driver “weaponized his vehicle and attempted to run over the law enforcement agents.”
The department said the driver was believed to be a member of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.
“Fearing for his life and safety, an agent fired a defensive shot. The driver drove off with the passenger, fleeing the scene,” DHS said.
In a statement, Portland Mayor Keith Wilson called on all ICE operations to end in the city until a full investigation was complete.
The Oregonian reported that the man and woman were believed to be a married couple and that their condition was unknown.
