O you human being, O you servant of the Most Merciful King — reflect on this matter and be truthful with the One who knows the secrets and the unseen, so that you may take proper steps in controlling what your eyes see and observe, directing them toward what brings benefit to you in this world and in the eternal abode.

Is it befitting for the one who longs to behold Paradise and the bliss it holds from the Most Merciful — who yearns to see the heavenly maidens and the various delights and divine gifts — is it right for such a person to use their sight for what Allah has forbidden in this worldly life?

And for the one who longs to see the faces of the righteous, the truthful, the Prophets and Messengers — to gaze upon the face of Muḥammad, the Seal of the Prophets — should he not guard his sight, purify it and cleanse it, so that he may be granted the vision of those radiant faces?

And how can one hope to gaze upon the Noble Countenance of Allah? One needs to strive to purify their sight completely — refining it thoroughly — so that they may be granted this immense honor: to behold the faces of the near ones, the Prophets and Messengers, the face of the Master of the Messengers, and ultimately, to be honored with the vision of the Glorious Countenance of Allah.

Wahai manusia, wahai hamba Allah Yang Maha Pengasih,
Perhatikanlah perkara penting ini, dan tuluslah engkau kepada Allah—Yang Maha Mengetahui rahasia dan yang tampak.
Dengan begitu, engkau akan mampu mengendalikan pandangan dan penglihatanmu dengan cara yang benar,
lalu menggunakannya untuk hal-hal yang bermanfaat bagimu, baik di dunia maupun di akhirat.

Orang yang merindukan surga dan segala kenikmatan dari Tuhan Yang Maha Penyayang,
yang ingin melihat bidadari surga dan berbagai anugerah serta pemberian Allah di sana,
masihkah pantas ia menggunakan pandangannya untuk melihat sesuatu yang diharamkan oleh Allah di dunia ini?

Orang yang rindu ingin melihat wajah para kekasih Allah, para sahabat sejati, para nabi dan rasul,
dan ingin memandang wajah Nabi Muhammad—penutup para nabi—dengan mata ini,
bukankah seharusnya ia menjaga pandangannya, menyucikannya, dan menjernihkannya,
agar kelak ia bisa benar-benar melihat wajah-wajah mulia tersebut?

Terlebih lagi jika ia berharap dapat melihat wajah Allah Yang Maha Mulia,
maka sudah seharusnya ia membersihkan pandangannya sebersih-bersihnya,
menjaganya dengan sangat baik,
agar ia layak memperoleh kemuliaan itu:
melihat wajah para nabi, para kekasih Allah, Nabi Muhammad,
dan puncaknya: melihat wajah Allah Yang Maha Mulia.
