Український президент Володимир Зеленський готовий до зустрічі із лідером Росії Володимиром Путіним. Про це за підсумками зустрічі у Вашингтоні із американським президентом, а також сімома європейськими лідерами повідомив сам Зеленський. До того ж, президент України не висуває передумов для такої зустрічі, щоб не дати Кремлю можливості такий саміт зірвати. У Кремлі готовність зустрічатися із Зеленським не підтвердили офіційно. Але президент США Дональд Трамп вже повідомив, що готує таку зустріч.У Вашингтоні також обговорили питання гарантій безпеки Україні. Французький президент Макрон навіть заявив, що вони можуть передбачати розгортання військ НАТО в Україні, але лише після припинення вогню. Дональд Трамп запевнив, що США не стоятимуть осторонь і долучаться до гарантій безпеки.
