Alasan Basarnas Belum Kerahkan Alat Berat saat Proses Evakuasi Korban Tertimbun Ponpes Ambruk

Saat ini proses evakuasi terus dilakukan untuk menyelamatkan korban yang masih tertimpa dibawah reruntuhan bangunan.
Hingga hari ketiga evakuasi, Rabu (1/10), sebanyak 11 korban telah berhasil dievakuasi, tiga di antaranya meninggal dunia, dan masih ada korban lain dalam kondisi kritis.
Hal ini disampaikan langsung oleh Kepala Subdirektorat Pengarahan dan Pengendalian Operasi Bencana, Emi Freezer, Rabu (1/10).
Sementara itu, Kepala Basarnas, Marsekal Madya Mohammad Syafii, menegaskan alat berat belum dimungkinkan lantaran potensi getaran dapat mengubah struktur bangunan.
Penggunaan alat berat bisa menimbulkan tekanan yang mengancam keselamatan korban yang masih hidup.
Tim SAR gabungan saat ini fokus menyisir titik-titik yang sulit dijangkau langsung.
Setidaknya terdapat enam titik kritis yang belum dapat diakses tim penyelamat.
Dalam rentang golden time 72 jam, tim melakukan pendekatan aman agar tidak merusak kolom utama bangunan.
Penetrasi langsung berisiko mengubah susunan konstruksi dan membahayakan korban.
Operasi penyelamatan mengutamakan keselamatan korban hidup dibanding percepatan evakuasi.
Proses evakuasi dilakukan secara hati-hati dengan memanfaatkan celah sempit di reruntuhan.
Strategi evakuasi disesuaikan dengan kondisi reruntuhan agar risiko lebih minim.
Hingga kini, tim penyelamat tetap berada di lokasi untuk memaksimalkan peluang menemukan korban selamat.
