Ayer en aguas territoriales cubanas se produjo un hecho que está sacudiendo las narrativas oficiales y generando dudas en redes y opiniones internacionales: una lancha rápida con matrícula de Florida entró al mar cercano a Cayo Falcones, en la provincia de Villa Clara, y fue interceptada por guardias fronterizos del régimen cubano.Según el gobierno de La Habana, cuando las Tropas Guardafronteras se acercaron para identificarla, los ocupantes de la lancha abrieron fuego contra las autoridades cubanas. En el intercambio de disparos, cuatro personas a bordo murieron y seis resultaron heridas, mientras que un oficial cubano también fue lesionado, de acuerdo con el relato oficial.
Lo que ha encendido las redes, sin embargo, no es solo el episodio en sí, sino las versiones y contradicciones que han surgido después: hay silencio informativo en muchos medios, declaraciones oficiales con afirmaciones discutibles y alegatos que no terminan de cerrarse en torno a quiénes eran realmente esos ocupantes o qué buscaban.
Mientras tanto, desde sectores de Estados Unidos y la comunidad internacional se ha anunciado que habrá investigaciones independientes para esclarecer lo ocurrido y determinar si la versión del régimen cubano se sostiene con hechos comprobables.
