Ingatkan Semangat Reformasi, SBY: Jenderal Aktif Kalau Berpolitik, Pensiun!
BOGOR, KOMPAS.TV - Presiden ke-6 RI, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) bercerita saat dirinya menjadi bagian dari tim reformasi Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Indonesia atau ABRI di masa reformasi.SBY mengatakan saat itu TNI aktif tabu untuk ikut dalam politik praktis.
"Saya jadi di ingat, karena dulu saya waktu masih di militer dalam semangat reformasi, TNI aktif itu tabu untuk memasuki dunia politik, politik praktis," kata SBY saat menerima 38 Ketua DPD Partai Demokrat di Cikeas, Bogor, Minggu (23/2/2025).
Lebih lanjut, SBY mengingatkan agar jenderal yang masih aktif jika ingin terjun ke politik harus terlebih dahulu pensiun.
"Benar, saya tergugah terinspirasi kalau masih jadi Jenderal aktif misalnya, jangan berpolitik. Kalau berpolitik, pensiun," ujarnya.
