La situazione più critica si è registrata in Lombardia, dove sono state condotte oltre 400 operazioni di soccorso. Tra le emergenze più rilevanti, l'evacuazione nella tarda sera di 250 ospiti di un campeggio a Isola di Fondra, nel bergamasco, minacciato a monte da una frana incombente e a valle dall’innalzamento del livello di un torrente: nella notte è stata liberata con escavatori una delle strade di accesso alla struttura ricettiva consentendo alle squadre di portare al sicuro tutte le persone.
