Internal Israel Berkonflik, Netanyahu Banjir Hujatan saat Kunjungi Daerah yang Diserang Hizbullah
TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Perdana Menteri Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu banjir hujatan setelah berkunjung ke perbatasan Israel Utara, Rabu (5/6/2024).Wali Kota Kiryat Shmona, Avichai Stern melontarkan kritikan pedas ke Netanyahu, terkait penanganan konflik dengan Hizbullah di perbatasan utara.
Stern juga mengkritik Netanyahu yang tidak memilih dirinya, sebagai Wali Kota untuk menemani kunjungan tersebut.
“Jika Perdana Menteri benar-benar ingin menginisiasi perubahan di Kiryat Shmona, dia harus didampingi sang wali kota di sisinya," katanya.
Diketahui, saat kunjungan itu, Netanyahu ditemani Avi Zafrani, calon Wali Kota Kiryat Shmona dari Partai Likud, yang menaungi Netanyahu.
Selain itu, sejumlah politikus lain, yakni Menteri Dalam Negeri Moshel Arbel dan menteri tanpa portofolio Benny Gantz, turut mengkritik Netanyahu.
Gantz, meminta Netanyahu untuk minta maaf kepada Stern.
Menanggapinya, Kantor Netanyahu berdalih, kunjungan itu berdasar “militer” dan tidak ada pejabat sipil yang diundang.
