TERROR IN BERLIN: Mutmaßlicher Täter laut Medienberichten in Spandau erschossen!Bei einem Polizeieinsatz in Berlin-Spandau sind zahlreiche Kräfte vor Ort. Die Berliner Staatsanwaltschaft bestätigte den laufenden Einsatz. Medien berichten von einer umstellten Gartenlaube in einer Gartenanlage.
Nach Angaben des RBB soll bei dem Einsatz ein Mann erschossen worden sein. Zuvor hatte der Sender über die Festnahme eines Iraners berichtet. Ob beide Meldungen dieselbe Person betreffen, blieb zunächst offen.
Die Bild-Zeitung meldete später den Zugriff auf Abdul Balut. Nach ihm war als mutmaßlichem Täter gefahndet worden. Eine offizielle Bestätigung der Berliner Polizei stand noch aus. Auch Berichte über einen Schusswechsel waren zunächst nicht bestätigt.
Lutz Stordl sagte am Tatort, die Fahndung könne möglicherweise beendet sein. Er verwies zugleich auf die ausstehende Bestätigung der Polizei. Leonie von Rando berichtete vom Brandenburger Tor über die Reaktionen vor Ort.
In der „Sonderberichterstattung rund um den Terroranschlag in Berlin“ hieß es, eine Pressekonferenz der Polizei solle weitere Klarheit bringen. Bis dahin blieben Identität, Ablauf und Zusammenhang der gemeldeten Zugriffe offen.
