Terbaru, Polri telah mengamankan 17 anggota Brimob yang diduga terlibat kasus pengeroyokan seorang PNS dan keluarganya tersebut.
Wadanki 3 Batalyon B Pelopor Satbrimob Polda Maluku, Ipda Fadli Hasan, telah menyampaikan permintaan maaf secara terbuka.
Ia memastikan belasan anggota Brimob diduga terlibat, baik terlibat langsung maupun ada di lokasi kasus pengeroyokan.
Kasus ini memicu kemarahan publik dan berujung pada unjuk rasa besar di depan Markas Brimob Bula pada Senin (22/9/2025) siang.
Karena, insiden itu mengakibatkan enam orang cedera, termasuk dua balita.
Mereka adalah Jamina Rumadedey (26), Jamila Rumaday (51), Ranja Rumaday (20), Alfaris Rumaday (2), dan Safitri Rumaday (4).
Bahkan, satu di antara perempuan disebut mengalami pelecehan. Ketika itu, sang korban masih memakai handuk.
Satu di antara korban, Abdul Haji Rumaday (30), ikut bersama massa.
Ia mengenakan pakaian dinas ASN dan tampak ada luka di bagian wajahnya.
Abdul menuntut pertanggungjawaban atas penganiayaan oleh belasan oknum anggota Brimob itu.
Abdul menyampaikan bahwa keluarga meminta para oknum Brimob harus dipecat lantaran anggota angkat senjata kepada masyarakat bahkan diduga ada yang mabuk.
